If everybody talks about the offers here and there that make many companies to buy Yahoo, but almost nobody says that this company also has the power to buy or to other Web startups that have a moderate success. Now I find out by TechCrunch that Yahoo has acquired FoxyTunes, a company based in Israel. Perhaps many of you know a plugin for Firefox with the same name, used to drive multiple audio players from the browser's interface, well, the company that developed this addon is the same as it was bought by Yahoo.

Recently the company closed its temptation of the music service is now closed and redirected to Rhapsody, a movement rather strange. It also was rumored that the company would open an office in Israel, and the acquisition of Foxytunes would have been the first step. With the events as they are now no one knows with certainty what will make Yahoo movements in the midst of the discord that has fostered.
