Pownce and Kevin Rose Pwned!

A few days ago Kevin Rose, the creator of Digg, threw his piece of news startup called Pownce. Immediately, the blogósfera succumbed and many bloggers began to give his opinions about the new service that might be the Twitter competitor. Here I am not going to express my opinion about the service, because I believe that it would be of more, since I still cannot prove it, therefore my opinion would be groundless. Nevertheless, other persons, like Álvaro, have done posts on this matter, where they can find out on what it is what it spends with Pownce.

Well, uncov, a blog dedicated to analyzing “further away that the others” startups and projects in the Web 2.0 has done a Pownce review, and they have not remained with hair in the language. Practically they have destroyed the project, giving very severe opinions on this matter. Straight they label to Kevin's initiative, like a refried one, that does not contribute anything new and that has existed from the decade of 70s, only that now is closed (only it is deposited by invitations) and with colors cake. The one that wrote this is referring to the FTP, which does the same as Pownce: "to you allow to share things with your friends.

And the thing not for there; also it rushes forward at members of the staff; in particular, Leah Culver. Yes, the same programmer, who is better than the best bread:-) and who gained herself a Macbook Pro on having recorded with laser his sponsors on the covering of his portable one. In the uncov post, his programming skills put themselves in prestige, since most of the place is working with JavaScript, doing that the load and the latency are major than the normal thing. en concreto, Leah Culver.

Anyway, it seems that someone got up of bad and a post wrote against Kevin Rose. In what concerns me, if they ask me, I believe that Pownce is like a Twitter with more unnecessary things; there is nothing new in this project, and they are making use of the reputation of the microblogging, doing a mashup of a service that is more than successful.
